| Major Activities |
- To impart skill and knowledge of Textile fibers, fiber blends yarns and fabric structure. |
- In deptt. understanding of dyeing printing finishing such as block printing, screen, tie & dye, stencil and batik printing etc. |
- Practical learning of fabric construction, through weaving, knitting and off loom weaving techniques. |
- To impart knowledge of garment construction as well as psycho-sociological aspects of clothing for various age groups and occasion. |
- Practical learning of laundering, care, maintenance and proper storage of appeared. |
- Knowledge of fashion designing and merchandising of apparel and textiles. |
- Expertise in computer aided textile designing. |
